How To Make Money Online With Wordpress Blog And List Building

As an Internet business coach, I teach many beginners, and one of the first thing I tell them is…to set up a wordpress blog and get an autoresponder.

Why wordpress, blogging and why list building?

Well, when I first got started online I had the chance to get a mentor (I strongly advise that you get a mentor by the way), and he taught me the first commandment of Internet marketing: get your autoresponder. I followed his advice, and let me tell you, I am really glad that I did. Now, I have more than four thousands subscribers, and this is really important for my Internet business.

Here are some of the things I managed to do with my lists:

1. I became a top affiliate for various Internet marketing products just by promoting to my list. I make sure that the product fits their need though. Unless other marketers, I do not promote very product under the sun just to make money or win a prize. I focus on educating my subscribers and giving them exactly what they need to achieve their short and long term goals.
2. I went from being an affiliate marketer to making my first sale as a product owner in just one day. Since I already had a list as an affiliate, once I decided to become a product owner, everything was really easy. All I did was creating a product, then I started a pre-launch with my list (Jeff Walker product launch formula style). The pre-launch was run for one week, and I finally launched my product. I can say that it was really amazing to see the sales pouring in. I made $300+ in 24H. For many people it’s not a lot of money (for others, it’s a lot) but since it was my second product and I sold it for less than 20 dollars, I made a lot of sales…and this was with a tiny list.
3. I managed to outsource some of my work directly with my list. Now, this is a huge time saver, and many marketers don’t do that, but they have direct access to a lot of people that can write their articles, build their websites, update their blog and build backlinks for them. I never found a better virtual assistant than my list members. Plus you can get excellent work for really cheap when you know what you are doing. Here is a tip for intermediate marketers. If you already know what you are doing, you can make a proposition…I teach you IM, and you work for me as an “Internet”. This is a great way to get a full VA team for free. Try it, it works. I remember that I did a couple of tasks like writing blog posts and a couple of other things as an Internet for a marketer a couple of years ago. This is a great way to learn.

Having your own list of subscribers is an essential part of your Internet business. Don’t neglect this and start right away with aweber.

As for wordpress, search engine love blogs, and you should absolutely have one or several wordpress blog (like this one) in your Internet empire.
